My name is Cody Floerchinger. After growing up in Anchorage, Alaska, I earned a B.S. in Chemistry from Montana State University (GO CATS!). At MSU I worked with Proton Transfer Reaction Mass Spectrometry (PTR-MS) under my undergraduate thesis advisor Dr. Berk Knighton. Then I headed out to Massachusetts to work at Aerodyne Research as a part of the Aerodyne Mobile Lab field team. I recently finished up my PhD. in the Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences at Harvard University with my research advisor Dr. Steve Wofsy. Currently I am a Scientist at Aeris LLC in Louisville, CO.
Most of my research thus far has focused on measuring and modeling trace gasses in the atmospherein order to understand their sources and emission rates. The purpose of this site is to introduce myself and showcase some of the things I spend my time on.
If you’re looking to get in touch, reach out and I wil get back to you as soon as I can.
