After waiting patiently for a few days the weather finally cooperated and we were able to sample Washington DC aboard ALAR and sample its methane and ethane emissions. Looking forward to more flights later this weekend. Attached is a sneak peak at some preliminary data from the city! With a steady SE wind we saw nice transport of air over the domain and a clean background upwind of the city. Other than the standard DC restricted area, there was a temporary flight restriction in Baltimore for MLB opening day. Thanks to great Pilots it wasn’t a problem!
